A native of Atlanta, Brandon Sadler's unique approach illustration and calligraphy has garnered the attention of galleries and media alike culminating in an ever-growing body of work and a place in the contemporary collection of the High Museum. His recent solo exhibitions have brought him praise as one of Atlanta's most prolific artists.
Sadler's aesthetic interests have been informed by his involvement in the American graffiti and street art sub-cultures, which formed the beginnings of his artistic process. The influences of Japanese Ukiyo-e, calligraphy, and other Asian art forms have impacted his aesthetic interests and greatly influenced his unique artistic style. This artistic inquiry has led to the creation of a body of work exhibited in galleries and the public arena, that merges East and West fluidly. Often, the resulting imagery speaks to a universal human condition through a narrative style encrypted with symbolism, text, and decorative elements. By exploring broad themes relating to current societal conditions, I expose man's battle with himself, society, and nature. Sadler's transformation of these cultures illustrates perfectly, the universality of art and its ability to activate the individual and the community. Brandon has shown this to be true with his involvement in public mural projects, arts education, and community outreach.

Born and raised in Connecticut, childhood trips to NYC in the mid-'80s exposed Greg Mike to the creative potential of reinventing public spaces through art and design. Always obsessed with the boundless energy and crisp line work of iconic American mid-century cartoons, by his early teens Greg began using the walls of his native state to fuse these two passions together. Mixing the take-no-prisoners bombast of classic NYC street art with the eagle-eyed precision of mass market illustration and animation has been his goal from the beginning. Further inspired by his deep involvement with skate culture and his intersections with the fashion world, he has become known for pieces that incorporate vivid explosions of incandescent color filtered through a Surrealist Pop Art perspective. Populated by gleefully twisted characters, his world is unsettling, mischievous and uniquely captivating.
Greg's first solo collection, "Popstars and Cokeheads," was exhibited in Atlanta, Miami, and San Francisco. Met with rave reviews, the success of "Popstars and Cokeheads" has stoked anticipation for his new solo pieces and collaborations coming in 2012. Still riffing on his established cartoonish elements, his newest work incorporates geometric patterns, shapes and mixed textures. His recent mural in Miami's Wynwood Arts District hints at his evolving aesthetic.
Currently based in Atlanta, GA, Greg is the founder and creative director of ABV, a multi-platform studio specializing in branding, apparel design and visual production. A hub for Atlanta innovators, ABV also functions as a gallery exhibiting artists from around the world, highlighting emerging talents alongside globally recognized names.
