CounterPoint is a "Camping Optional" Festival, where concertgoers can choose to pitch a tent, bring their RV, or rent one of our luxury camping options so they can crash onsite once all the day's festivities have finished. For those not wanting to camp, there will be shuttle and travel package options so you can make the quick trek back to Atlanta and sleep in a comfortable hotel room or your own pad.

Each person camping must purchase a camping ticket in order to enter the camping area.

Campground Rules

Violation of these rules may result in your removal from the premises without refund. Please read carefully.

Access Rules

All campers must have a camping wristband on their wrist at all times in order to enter the campgrounds during the festival. If you have purchased a day pass but you would like to camp you may purchase a camping upgrade wristband at either of the tollbooths or the entrances to camping. If you have a supplemental campground wristband you MUST wear your festival wristband as well.

Vehicle Pass for Route to Accessible Camping

Patrons who have a mobility disability, a government-issued accessible parking tag, and who plan to camp in the Accessible Camping Area, should enter Through Tollbooth A on the West Side of the property. Please have your accessible parking tag visible on your windshield and upon entering the tollbooths look for the large ADA sign over the tollbooth tents and proceed to that lane. When you enter the tollbooth tell the attendant that you wish to camp in the Accessible Camping Area. They will mark your windshield and a parking team will direct you to the appropriate camping location.

Vehicle Rules

Speed Limit: is 5 MPH - if you see dust behind your tires you are going too fast.

Vehicles: Vehicles are only allowed to enter the campgrounds if all passengers in the car have a camping wristband. Patrons with non-camping wristbands will not be allowed to enter the camping area in the vehicle. If you choose to upgrade your non-camping wristband to a camping wristband you are able to do so at the tollbooths upon entrance. If you choose to day park you will be directed to the dayparking lot and you will not be allowed to leave your car overnight.

Bicycles: You may not ride your bike within the festival or camp grounds so please do not bring one!

Other Vehicles: No devices that take you faster than a walking pace are allowed. This includes bicycles, segways, golf carts, ATVs, scooters, and so on. If you use one of these for a mobility disability, please refer to our accessibility guideline.

Un-Authorized vehicles: will be towed at the owner's expense

No Ins-&-Outs: Once a vehicle is directed to its campsite, it cannot leave the campground and return. If you have an emergency and need to leave the campgrounds prior to the festival being over please contact one of the members of our Campground/Info or Safety team to be safely escorted out of the campgrounds. Should you choose to leave the campgrounds and return to the festival you will be directed to park in day parking. Vehicles may not re-enter the campground.

RV Rules

What is an RV? Vehicles such as towed campers, pop-up campers, buses, oversized vehicles, and motor homes qualify as RVs. For our purposes, any vehicle larger than a 15 passenger van is an RV.

RV Chains: In order to park your RV next to your friends' RVs, you must arrive at the same time and follow each other into the entrance at the same time. Parking is first-come-first-serve.

No pump/dump: All of the campsites are 'rustic sites'. This means that there are NO water or electrical hook-ups. There are no sanitary dump stations on the premises, so please be aware of this and keep your area clean!

Gasoline: RV drivers, gas up before you get here. You will not be allowed to bring extra gas into the festival for your RV. Only those who have a generator will be allowed to enter with extra gasoline. Two five-gallon cans of gas per generator will be allowed, and must be carried in approved gas cans.

General Rules

Age: You must be 18+ to attend CounterPoint Festival.

Trash & Campsite cleaning: Every vehicle will receive two bags upon entering the tollbooths - the clear one is for trash and the blue one is for recycling. Any aluminum, #1 and #2 plastic beverage containers and cardboard can be recycled in the blue bag. When the music stops at the end of the weekend, be sure to take some time to clean up your campsite. Bag up all of your recycling and trash in separate bags. Do a quick sweep of the ground to pick up any cigarette butts and bottle caps from the grass. Finally, tie off your full bags of waste and bring them to the edge of any road in the campground for curbside pickup.

Pets: Service animals YES, Pets NO.

Smoking: No Smoking inside of dance tents. Please throw butts in the trash cans.

Alcohol: Alcohol is allowed in the campgrounds only provided you are over 21 and follow the alcohol & beverage policy. NO GLASS, no kegs, no more than the allowed amount per person. 2 cases of beer per person per car, 1.75 liters of liquor per person per car (in plastic bottles), and 2 boxes of wine per person per car. Anything in excess of that amount will be confiscated when your vehicle is inspected on arrival.

Drugs: are not allowed under any circumstances. There is a no tolerance policy.

Medication and syringes: must be kept in its original packaging with the name on the label, and patrons must carry a photo ID matching the prescription label on the medication.

Noise: Only approved structures are allowed to have amplified music in the campgrounds. We will have security patrolling the campgrounds shutting down any amplified music or large drum circles past 1am. Please be respectful of your fellow campers.

Respect: Be nice. Any unwanted physical contact, unwanted sexual advances, or threat of assault will not be tolerated and will result in your permanent removal from the festival without refund.

Nudity: Fits in with our rule about respect. Exposing yourself in public is not respectful to other campers, and we may remove you from the festival without refund.

Securing your camping equipment: Please make sure your equipment is tied down securely enough to handle wind and other elements. Please monitor the safety of your camp set-up throughout the festival. If the wind picks up we do not want to see flying tent poles.

Eco-Footprint: Please do not deface the natural landscape. This means no carving or nailing into trees, digging in the ground, or anything else that would do damage to the grounds.

Pest Control: The use of poisons/insecticides/chemicals, etc. is prohibited. Only non-DEET bug spray is allowed within the grounds.

Fire: No fires of any kind will be allowed, the area has recently been under burn ban. . Small, personal propane camping stoves are allowed. No charcoal grills.

Fire Spinning: No fire, thus no fire spinning, will be allowed.

Firearms: None are allowed. Even patrons with a concealed handgun license are not permitted to carry on festival or camp grounds.

First Aid: There will be medical professionals on staff 24 hours a day at every first aid center on site. First Aid may be requested from any of the festival staff. The first aid centers are located in each campground pod and notated on the map with a large red +.

  • West Campground: Located in the North East corner of the campground on your way into the venue.
  • East Campground: Located at the Southern tip of the campground near the entrance to the venue

Unauthorized Solicitors: only registered vendors may sell food, beverages, merchandise, or services on the festival or the camp grounds. Any unauthorized solicitors will be escorted off the grounds with their merchandise OR will be allowed to stay on site with their merchandise confiscated.

What NOT to Bring into the Campgrounds
  • NO GLASS containers of any kind (These items will all be confiscated)
  • NO Weapons
  • NO Drugs or Drug Paraphernalia
  • NO Kegs/Pony Kegs
  • NO Animals, other than service animals
  • NO Golf carts, dune buggies, off road motorcycles, Segways, horses, etc of any kind will be allowed on the premises
  • NO Unauthorized Vending of Products
  • NO Open fires, gas, or charcoal
  • NO Generators unless part of the RV or trailer
  • NO Fireworks
  • NO Box Trucks or trailers (Camping trailers are OK but are considered RV'S)
  • NO Gasoline unless you have an onboard Generator
  • NO Paint or Markers of any kind
  • NO GLASS

**Venue/promoters and Security Personnel hold the right to deem other items not on this list as unlawful or dangerous
